Southern Charm Weddings & Events was created in 2007 by its owner and lead coordinator, Tanya Hendricks. Since then the events and weddings have grown with each one taking a special place in her heart.
Tanya’s background brings a multitude of skills that have prepared her for planning and coordinating events. As a legal administrator for over twenty years, she knows how important every detail can be and is a master organizer. As an interior designer for over ten years, she realizes the importance of eye appeal and putting that special finishing touch to an event.
Tanya has coordinated simple intimate dinner parties to banquets and luncheons. She has coordinated and planned weddings by directing and even officiating at them. Her list of accomplished events include annual company picnics, company dinners and employee/volunteer recognition dinners and grand soirees, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, anniversary parties, corporate parties and reunions.
Tanya’s unique style, vision and attention to detail bring out the Southern Charm in every event.

Have you ever met someone that can just go ninety miles an hour? Well, if have not, then you need to meet Kenny. Kenny is truly the worker bee of this team. He is the muscle behind all the beautiful gazebos and decorations. We like to call Kenny the “Zip Tie King” because he always has a pocket full of zip ties and believes they will hold anything together. Kenny and his crew can set up and break down any event in record time.
Kenny can always be counted on to add a smile and that something extra to each event. He likes to bring a surprise for each bride and we never know what that might be! He is the gentleman behind the woman! Kenny’s love for helping others truly shines through with his dedication and attention to detail. Kenny is the epitome of Southern Charm.
